Here’s how:
Step #1 Open a Metrobank Philippines Account
You can open up a dollar or peso denominated checking/savings account with any of our Metrobank Philippine branches. If you already have an existing Metrobank account, you can have your pension paid into it. You may also choose to open up a new account strictly for your pension, even if you have existing accounts.
To ensure that your money is well protected from fraudulent activities, we have setup certain rules. The account chosen should be;- Passbook Account only (ATM not allowed)
- Regular Philippine Peso or US Dollar savings or checking account
- Single account under the name of the pensioner (Joint account is not allowed)

Step #2 Notify your Pension Provider
To initiate the direct deposits of your pension to your Metrobank account, you need to notify your pension provider by filling out the Direct Deposit Sign Up Form, provided by your local branch.
